As an entrepreneur and business owner what kind of employee do you want to have? Would you enjoy one who is self responsible about making a profit from their own labor?

Sure there's a risk that they may leave to do their own thing… that's always a possibility. They never will care as much about your company as you do - that's unrealistic. There are lots of things that you can do to make them feel appreciated and want to play the game of business with you.

A self responsible employee will accomplish so much more than someone who's there just for the paycheck. A person who thinks that they are working for themslves and selling their time and skills to you for a profit is going to be worth three who are working for a paycheck. What do you think?
