Things have been a mess for the last few days as we've been unexpectedly busy thanks to a hacker. First we've tried to restore the blog and then ended up moving to another hosting company. If you've ever moved your domain, you know that can take some time.

That was complicated by the damage done by the hacker to our database and other files. We're back up and running though!

What did we learn? You cannot have too many backups - hourly is better than daily. You're better off to have a development environment rather than using your website for that - it's easy to have a desktop that is your dev server.

All in all a bit of experience that we will learn from for the future.
